UPDATE 6/6/07: Rayburn, who visited the 49ers last week, is expected to return Sunday to sign the contract. He'll receive the fifth-year veteran minimum of $595,000 and an undisclosed signing bonus, along with the chance to make more money through playing time and other incentives, said his agent, Jason Brown.

UPDATE 5/12/07: The Eagles today released defensive tackle Sam Rayburn. Rayburn, signed as a rookie free agent by the Eagles in 2003, spent his first four NFL seasons in Philadelphia, recording 101 tackles and nine sacks in 52 games.
