 UPDATE 6/4/07: Haynes sustained a season-ending knee injury last October in a game against the Oakland Raiders and was released in March for salary cap reasons. He had been rehabilitating his knee at the Steelers' South Side practice facility, and his signing indicates that the team is satisfied that his knee will be strong enough for Haynes to go full speed in training camp.
